Alternately known as the Road Warriors or Legion of Doom, Hawk and Animal distinguished themselves with a ferocious fighting style and a MAD MAX wardrobe to match: face paint, mohawks, leather, and massive metal spikes. The Road Warriors made their debut in 1983 and competed for the AWA, NWA/WCW, and WWF/WWE all throughout the 1980s, becoming the only tag team in history to win major titles in all three divisions. Though they faced a decline in popularity in the `90s, the duo continued to make appearances until Hawk`s tragic heart-attack death in 2003. This documentary recounts the Road Warriors` enduring legacy through archival footage, interviews, and a collection of clips from their most memorable matches.
